A Prenatal Yoga Practice is different from a Yoga Practice. We focus on breath awareness, balancing the pelvis, strengthening the core, and build an awareness of your pelvic floor. We will go slower, listening to the body and how it wants to move.
Practicing yoga strengthens and prepares your body and mind for labour and motherhood. Bringing awareness to your breath and moving mindfully helps your mind and body to let go. This practice and awareness is an invaluable tool in managing the intensity of labour, life, and especially Motherhood.
Prenatal Yoga is being offered on Thursday evenings from 5-6 pm in downtown Duncan.
