Explore movement, breath, sound, and visualization as you cycle through the stages of labour in this hour long Yoga inspired class for soon to be Mamas.
Yoga for Labour and Birth focuses on preparing, strengthening, and opening the areas of the body that will be supporting and working with you through labour and birth. We will practice yoga postures and movement specific to the various stages of labour and bring in affirmations, visualization and breath to empower you for your upcoming birth journey.
Here in this hour long class you will be given the space to explore your feelings around birth, your likes and dislikes, the way that your body likes to move, and how you feel about letting go into the depths of labour. Lights will be dim and you are invited to go inward.
This class is suitable for Mamas at any stage of pregnancy that are ready to explore and prepare for labour and birth. You are welcome and encouraged to begin this class as early in pregnancy as desired.

Take the time and space to breathe and re-connect with your postpartum body and Mother self. This includes nursing babes, diaper changes, and everything that comes with being a Mom.
We will move mindfully and gently, bringing in awareness, strength, and opening to your beautiful postpartum body. Together we will breathe, move, connect and find silence.
